Monte spent his early career in the San Francisco Bay Area working to improve the lives of individuals with special needs and their families.  After completing an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Monte spent the next twenty years in a variety of senior management positions in various technology companies.  Seeing a need in the Shanghai community and being inspired by the work of his wife, Dr. Shari Rosen, Monte decided to help his wife start SEC in December of 2005.  Monte is responsible for the overall operations and strategy of SEC.  Monte’s career has come full circle and he is thrilled about what lays ahead.  Monte has lived in Shanghai since 2003 with his wife and two young children.
